Giancarlo Da-Ré

Giancarlo is a co-founding member, the Director of Growth , and Editorial Director for The Decarbonomics Initiative. In his role, Giancarlo oversees strategic initiatives towards the goals of the organization, and is focused on the areas of climate diplomacy, energy infrastructure, and critical mineral supply chain vulnerabilities.

Professionally, he worked in politics as the President & CEO of the McMaster Students Union. He later drove the development of McMaster University's inaugural Sustainability Strategy.

Giancarlo is completing his Master of Global Affairs at the Munk School of Global Affairs & Public Policy, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Biology from McMaster University. He is currently a Lupina Fellow in Innovation at the Innovation Policy Lab and a Fellow at Massey College.
