Jonathan Rincon Lopez

Jonathan Rincon Lopez is a co-founding member, and the Executive Director of the Economy Zero Group. He also leads the economic analysis work that the organization carries out.

He currently works at an international energy consulting firm, focusing on the practical implementation of the energy transition in various markets worldwide. As a Colombian national, he has a high interest in the sustainable development of the Latin America region, especially through the expansion of renewable energy.

Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineeringing; as well as a Masters of Global Affairs, from the University of Toronto, through which he focused on global capital markets and the energy transition. He has professional experience in mining engineering, building science consulting, energy economics consulting, and impact investing.
