Sohailia Saywack

Sohailia is the Director of Development for the Economy Zero Group. She incorporates prior experiences in non-profit capacity-building to facilitate EZG’s strategic planning and opportunities for organizational growth. 

She currently works at an asset management firm, supporting impact measurement and management for Canada's Social Finance Fund. She is also working on the design of an ESG certificate program for a Toronto-based college. Sohailia's prior experiences include oversight analytical work in an international ESG ratings firm, as well as consulting engagements for environmental and social impact investing initiatives. Raised between the Caribbean and Canada, Sohailia is curious about climate change mitigation through sustainability-focused private-public partnerships.

Sohailia holds a Bachelor and Master of Arts in Sociology, as well as a Master of Global Affairs with an emphasis in Global Development. During her academic tenure, she explored issues ranging from inequality and corruption, bilateral diplomacy for climate resiliency, and impact investing for gender-equitable clean energy transitions in emerging markets.
